North Notts Business Awards 2013 Special Launch Luncheon At the Osberton International Horse Trials 2012 Friday, 28th September 2012 Incorporating the Lycetts British Eventing Young Horse Championships  Osberton Park in Bassetlaw is host to one of the most prestigious events in the UK’s equestrian calendar, the Osberton International Horse Trials, and is the showcase for British Event horse breeding. Join us at a very special North Notts Business Awards 2013 Launch Luncheon and be at the forefront of the action, enjoy the stunning views and admire the exquisitely groomed and presented horses and their riders at this top international sport.     More about the Osberton International Horse Trails Osberton International Horse Trials is a major sporting event in the community. Although to the uninitiated horse trials may not appeal, the sport is one of the most popular family days out, with key events like Badminton and Burghley attracting well over 100,000 spectators. Participation in equestrian activity has increased nationally by 75% in the last 10 years. In the UK today the equestrian industry is worth over £3.8bn. The gender split of those attending events is 60/40 (female/male) with over 63% from the AB audience, one of the highest of any sporting event. Attendances at events, by both competitors and spectators, have seen a steady upward trend over the past few years. Osberton was launched as an International event in 2009, hosting the Young Horse Championships since 2010, in this time we have seen competing numbers of horses grow from 200 to over 600. · Attracts competitors and owners from all over the UK and abroad.
